Washington Government Attorneys

Washington does not specifically provide special admission rules for government attorneys licensed in other jurisdictions. However, attorneys that are eligible to take the Washington bar exam and practice on behalf of a governmentally sponsored legal services organization, or in a public defenders office, may temporarily practice law in Washington under the Legal Services Organization Rules.
