Nevada Multistate Professional Responsibility Exam (MPRE)

The Multistate Professional Responsibility Exam (“MPRE”) is an ethics exam administered by the National Conference of Bar Examiners (“NCBE”) and not by the state of Nevada. The MPRE is administered separately from the Nevada bar exam and is generally tested three times each year in March, August, and November.

MPRE for Nevada

Nevada requires an MPRE scaled score of 85 or greater prior to admission. The MPRE score cannot be achieved earlier than three years preceding, or three years after, the year in which the applicant passes the Nevada bar exam. Applicants may take the MPRE an unlimited number of times during this period. If the applicant fails to achieve the minimum score within the time period, the applicant must retake the Nevada bar exam.
