Washington Multistate Professional Responsibility Exam (MPRE)

Washington no longer tests the Washington Professional Responsibility Exam. Washington now tests the Multistate Professional Responsibility Exam (“MPRE”).

The MPRE is an ethics exam administered by the National Conference of Bar Examiners (“NCBE” ) and not by the state of Washington. The MPRE is administered separately from the Washington bar exam and is generally tested three times each year in March, August, and November.

Please visit the Ethics Exam/MPRE page for general information about the MPRE and the MPRE application process.
