Delaware Multistate Professional Responsibility Exam (MPRE)

The Multistate Professional Responsibility Exam (“MPRE” ) is an ethics exam administered by the National Conference of Bar Examiners (“NCBE” ) and not by the state of Delaware. The MPRE is administered separately from the Delaware bar exam and is generally tested three times each year in March, August, and November.

MPRE for Delaware

Delaware requires an MPRE scaled score of 85 or greater.  The MPRE exam must be taken by January 1 of the calendar year that is four years preceding the passed Delaware bar exam through December 31 of the calendar year following the year in which the applicant passed the Delaware bar exam. (Rules of the Bar Examiners, Section III).

Delaware accepts MPRE scaled scores that were achieved in another jurisdiction.
