Louisiana Miscellaneous Admission

Out-of-State Proceedings, Potential In-State and Out-of-State Proceedings, and All Alternative Dispute Resolution Proceedings

Section 13(B) of the Louisiana Admission Rules allows limited practices for out-of-state attorneys. Out-of state attorneys must be eligible for admission pro hac vice or eligible to practice in another lawful way. However, the authorized activities below do not constitute the unauthorized practice of law even if no proceeding is filed or if pro hac vice admission is ultimately denied. Please visit the Louisiana Pro Hac Vice Rules for information related to such practices.
