North Dakota Multistate Professional Responsibility Exam (MPRE)

The Multistate Professional Responsibility Exam (“MPRE”) is an ethics exam administered by the National Conference of Bar Examiners (“NCBE”) and not by the state of North Dakota. The MPRE is administered separately from the North Dakota bar exam and is generally tested three times each year in March, August, and November.

MPRE for North Dakota

North Dakota requires an MPRE scaled score of 85 or greater. The MPRE score must be achieved within five years of filing an application for admission. (North Dakota Admission to Practice Rules, Rule 6(A)(4)).

Attorneys seeking North Dakota Admission on Motion must satisfy the MPRE requirement within five years of the application for admission.
