Rhode Island Bar Reciprocity
Rhode Island does not offer traditional admission on motion or bar reciprocity. Full admission requires the Rhode Island bar examination or a qualifying UBE score transfer. Attorneys admitted elsewhere may qualify for a modified examination (essay day only) after full-time active practice or full-time ABA law teaching for five of the past ten years. See the Judiciary admission FAQs.
