Special Licenses

Law students and attorneys and may be admitted via a Bar Exam or through the Bar Reciprocity/Admission on Motion procedures. In addition, many jurisdictions carve out special admission exceptions for specific categories of attorneys. The exceptions range widely for the categories of attorneys and the types of admission. The types of admission may include a temporary license to practice, a registration, exemption from the unauthorized practice of law, or full admission.
