Wyoming Multistate Professional Responsibility Exam (MPRE)
The Multistate Professional Responsibility Exam (“MPRE” ) is an ethics exam administered by the National Conference of Bar Examiners (“NCBE” ) and not by the state of Wyoming. The MPRE is administered separately from the Wyoming bar exam and is generally tested three times each year in March, August, and November.

MPRE for Wyoming
Wyoming requires an MPRE scaled score of 85 or greater prior to admission. Scaled scores may be obtained or transferred for up to three years before the bar exam administration or up to one month after the bar exam administration.
There is no MPRE requirement for attorneys seeking Wyoming Admission on Motion. However, applicants from states that require the MPRE for Admission on Motion cannot be admitted on motion and must take the Wyoming Bar Exam.
Wyoming MPRE Scoring Reciprocity/Transfer
Wyoming accepts MPRE scaled scores of 85 or greater that were achieved in another jurisdiction for up to three years.
