Idaho Multistate Professional Responsibility Exam (MPRE)

The Multistate Professional Responsibility Exam (“MPRE”) is an ethics exam developed by NCBE and administered separately from the Idaho bar exam at Pearson VUE testing centers. The MPRE is generally offered three times each year (March, August, and November).

MPRE for Idaho

Idaho requires an MPRE scaled score of 85 or greater prior to admission. Confirm current timing rules with the Idaho admissions office and NCBE.

Attorneys seeking Idaho Admission on Motion must meet the MPRE requirement unless a published exception applies.

Idaho MPRE Scoring Reciprocity/Transfer

Idaho accepts MPRE scaled scores achieved in another jurisdiction when reported through NCBE score services. Request an additional score report for Idaho through NCBE.
