Nebraska Multistate Professional Responsibility Exam (MPRE)

The Multistate Professional Responsibility Exam (“MPRE”) is an ethics exam developed by NCBE and administered separately from the Nebraska bar exam at Pearson VUE testing centers. The MPRE is generally offered three times each year (March, August, and November).

MPRE for Nebraska

Nebraska requires an MPRE scaled score of 85 or greater prior to admission. Confirm current timing rules with the Nebraska admissions office and NCBE.

Attorneys seeking Nebraska Admission on Motion must meet the MPRE requirement unless a published exception applies.

Nebraska MPRE Scoring Reciprocity/Transfer

Nebraska accepts MPRE scaled scores achieved in another jurisdiction when reported through NCBE score services. Request an additional score report for Nebraska through NCBE.
