Oregon House Counsel

Oregon State Bar Rule for Admission 16.05 provides limited admission of house counsel for lawyers admitted elsewhere who are employed by a qualifying Oregon business entity. Confirm current forms and fees with OSB Admissions.

Eligibility and compliance
House counsel must identify their limited status on business materials, notify the bar of employment or status changes, and submit annual compliance certifications. Practice is limited to the employer; court appearances require pro hac vice or full admission. See also Oregon MJP.
