Utah House Counsel
Utah State Bar Rule 14-719 requires an in-house counsel license when an out-of-state lawyer establishes a systematic and continuous Utah presence (including bona fide Utah residency or qualifying Utah employer relationship). Lawyers located entirely out of state without such presence generally are not required to license. Confirm current forms with Utah Bar Admissions.
Practice
The license authorizes employer practice subject to Utah RPC; court appearances require pro hac vice or Utah admission. See also Utah MJP.
