Washington House Counsel

Washington Supreme Court Admission and Practice Rule 8(f) provides limited admission as house counsel for lawyers licensed elsewhere who practice exclusively for a qualifying Washington employer. Confirm current forms through the WSBA Online Admissions Portal.

Eligibility and practice
Applicants may practice temporarily under RPC 5.5 while an application is pending. Limited admission authorizes employer practice; court appearances require pro hac vice or full Washington admission. See also Washington MJP.
