Iowa Continuing Legal Education (CLE)

Iowa’s continuing legal education requirements are administered through the Iowa Judicial Branch attorney-regulation / CLE program. Active lawyers must complete annual CLE, including periodic legal-ethics credits, and file reports on the court’s schedule. Newly admitted exam applicants may have a basic skills / professionalism course requirement that motion admittees do not.
