Missouri Multistate Professional Responsibility Exam (MPRE)

The Multistate Professional Responsibility Exam (“MPRE”) is an ethics exam developed by NCBE and administered separately from the Missouri bar exam at Pearson VUE testing centers. The MPRE is generally offered three times each year (March, August, and November).

MPRE for Missouri

Missouri requires an MPRE scaled score of 80 or greater prior to admission. Confirm current timing rules with the Missouri admissions office and NCBE.

Attorneys seeking Missouri Admission on Motion must meet the MPRE requirement unless a published exception applies.

Missouri MPRE Scoring Reciprocity/Transfer

Missouri accepts MPRE scaled scores achieved in another jurisdiction when reported through NCBE score services. Request an additional score report for Missouri through NCBE.
