Nevada Bar Exam

Nevada Bar Exam Format

Effective January 19, 2026, Nevada uses the Nevada Plan — a non-UBE modular path (Foundations of Legal Education exam, Legal Practice Exam, supervised practice, and MPRE). The prior format (six Nevada essays, two Nevada performance tests, and MBE) was offered through the July 2026 administration. Nevada has not adopted the NextGen UBE. Confirm current rules with the State Bar and NCBE.

MBE / UBE Score Transfer
Nevada does not accept transferred MBE scores or portable UBE scores under the Nevada Plan.

Under the Nevada Plan, the Foundations of Legal Education exam uses a scaled passing score of 75 (confirm current LPE and supervised-practice requirements with the State Bar).
