Nevada House Counsel

Nevada Supreme Court Rule 49.1(1)(h) provides limited-practice certification for in-house counsel who reside in Nevada and meet rule requirements. Some out-of-state in-house counsel may also practice under Nevada RPC 5.5(b) exceptions without certification when they do not establish a regular Nevada presence or hold out as Nevada-admitted; certain activities may require reporting under NRPC 5.5A. Confirm current SCR and NRPC text with the State Bar of Nevada.

Practice limits
Limited certification and RPC safe harbors do not authorize general public practice or court appearances without pro hac vice or full admission. See also Nevada MJP.
