Nevada Bar Reciprocity

Nevada does not offer reciprocal admission.

In 2001, the Nevada Commission on Multijurisdictional Practice issued a Report reaffirming the requirement of taking and passing the Nevada Bar Exam as a prerequisite for admission. In addition, Rule 42(15) of the Nevada Supreme Court Rules explicitly prohibits admission based on motion or reciprocity.

Please see another special admission category, the Nevada Pro Hac Vice page to view the requirements for admission to a particular proceeding and the Nevada Multijurisdictional Practice Rules (MJP) for legal practices that are excluded from the unauthorized practice of law.
