Mississippi House Counsel

Mississippi Rules of Professional Conduct 5.5(d) requires out-of-state lawyers who establish an office or other systematic presence in Mississippi while serving as in-house or government counsel to register annually with The Mississippi Bar. Confirm current forms and fees on the Bar site.

Registration
Registrants submit the application or renewal form, proof of employment, and a current letter of good standing. Practice is limited to the employer; court appearances require pro hac vice or Mississippi admission. See also Mississippi MJP.
