Mississippi Multistate Professional Responsibility Exam (MPRE)
The Multistate Professional Responsibility Exam (“MPRE”) is an ethics exam developed by NCBE and administered separately from the Mississippi bar exam at Pearson VUE testing centers. The MPRE is generally offered three times each year (March, August, and November).

MPRE for Mississippi
Mississippi requires an MPRE scaled score of 75 or greater prior to admission. Confirm current timing rules with the Mississippi admissions office and NCBE.
Attorneys seeking Mississippi Admission on Motion must meet the MPRE requirement unless a published exception applies.
Mississippi MPRE Scoring Reciprocity/Transfer
Mississippi accepts MPRE scaled scores achieved in another jurisdiction when reported through NCBE score services. Request an additional score report for Mississippi through NCBE.
